Isabel was conceived by her mother in Melbourne Australia. Her father is Australian as is her mother who is Swiss. Her family was in Switzerland Melbourne Jabiru, a small town in Northern Territory called Cairns and Cairns Australia. With her sister Nina they attended schools with kids of all race and ethnicity. Isabel is currently living in Byron Bay NSW Australia. Isabel was involved in drama already during her time at school. Her next step was to pursue a degree in acting at the Victorian College of Arts Queensland University of Technology and more has recently been studying her studies in the PEM Method Perdekamp Emotional Method. She never auditioned for part until asked through her agency in the year 2002. The role she played was as a character in Home and Away for 1988. The producers felt she wasn't suitable for the role, however, they were impressed enough that they created a brand new character that she could play, Tasha. She starred for 3 years as her first role on television and received the Logie Award for new popular talent for her role. Isabel was moved from Los Angeles, California in 2008. In 2009, her breakout performance was Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Since then she starred in several US and Australian films and has won numerous awards. Isabel recently played a part on Bosh & Rockit Ocean Boy which is fast becoming an Australian iconic film, as well as the soon to be released thriller Lunacy. Isabel is also currently finishing Sons of Summer, and she is in the process of preproduction for the part in the film Marie Curie for Radiant. Award-winning Annika Glac is writing/directing the film. Isabel is involved in several environmental groups and is an animal rights advocate. She has been a proud PatronAmbassador for Melbourne's Human Rights and Arts Film Festival HRAFF for the past 10 years up to 2020. Isabel, who is well-known for her environmental efforts and dedication to the cause of social justice and ethical values, was the brand's face and spokesperson for several cosmetics and fashion campaigns.
