Suzanne Pleshette

 


Suzanne Pleshette, born January 31, 1937, passed away January 19 the 19th of January, 2008. She was an American actress, voiceactor, television, film and theatre director. Pleshette began her stage career, and appeared in films towards the end of the 1950s. She then appeared in notable films like Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), or Spirited Away (192001). Later, she appeared in a variety of television productions, most often in guest roles. She also she played Emily Hartley on The Bob Newhart Show from 1972 until 1978. She earned numerous Emmy Award nominations for her performance.
